The Microsoft Office Web Apps would
be available for free via web browsers.
Microsoft Office has been a major product within Microsoft's vast range of
software. Within Office are the powerful Word (word processor), the Excel
spreadsheet , Outlook and the PowerPoint presentations packages.
The upgraded Microsoft Office 2010 features new functions to the Office range
and can be installed and operated on local computers.
The free Office Web apps will be a
version of Microsoft Office that will obviously be different to the local computer
version.
Users will be able to access the free 'Office Web' applications via virtually
any compatible computer with a web browser.
The free web apps for Microsoft Office 2010 should be available about
mid June 2010 for those trying to use via desktop and laptop type computers.
Microsoft Office 2010 should be available for compatible mobile phone
users over the next week.
